Day 2
27th Nov 2015, the UN Data Innovation Conference for Policy Maker Day 2 ended at 6pm.
Then we quickly moved to HARRIS Hotel Raya Kuta Bali.
The next day, we started our sightseeing.
We hired a van and enjoyed our last day in this beautiful island.
This was the most popular tourist place, where the movie Love, Pray and Eat was produced.
Here was the waterfall.
Boss Wei Kok enjoyed the view a lot.
So did I.
However, it was difficult to climb there.
To young people like me, it was still manageable.
On our journey, we slowly understood why people call Bali the Island of Gods. Because it produced gods.
God is everywhere.
God is in all forms.
All kinds of gods.
Besides its stone handicrafts, Bali is also famous for the silver handicrafts.
The art piece below is made by silver completely.
Guess how were the art pieces made below? They were textile arts.
If I was rich, I would bring all of them home.
Here was how they made batik, the traditional Indonesian costume.
After seeing so many places, the boss wanted coffee.
And he also needed rest. We went into a fine restaurant.
We ended our day by visiting the beach.
We saw nice kites and birds in the sky.
When we reached the airport, we finally fell back to reality, i.e., busy and working.
